Year 4 Forest School - The Season of Spring - 2023
Well, spring started off lovely and dry ... then endless rain turned the Forest School into a bit of a muddy swamp! But whatever the weather, and no matter how squidgy it got underfoot, the children of Year 4 certainly had plenty of fun!
The muddy ground and flooded ditches allowed opportunities to build bridges - though testing them proved rather wet at times, with many wellies filled with water! We made clay models, created bows and arrows, built dens, played blindfold games and made a lot of coloured face paints to decorate ourselves with!
Spring may have been a bit wetter and chillier than we had hoped for ... but there was never a shortage of smiles as everyone tucked into hot waffles, puff pastry and s'mores!
