YEAR 5 ADVENTURES IN THE AUTUMN WOODS
Well... the Year 5 adventures out in Forest School started all nice, dry and sunny in September ... then ended up rather wet and muddy by the start of November!
But that didn't stop us having lots of fun in the woods, plus learning and developing plenty of new skills.
Bows and arrows were made, mushrooms whittled, clay faces adourned the trees, creepy heads on sticks appeared for Halloween, dream catchers hung from trees and secret camouflaged dens were created. Plus, don't forget some great fun playing 'Eagle's Nest' and 'Hide and Seek Sardines'.
It may have been a bit damp and muddy at times, but the fire was hot and the waffles, marshmallows and toasted lunches hot!
