YEAR 5 FOREST SCHOOL ADVENTURES - AUTUMN 2025
What a fantastic time Year 5 had out in the Forest School woods during the autumn of 2025. We were working in teams to create mallets and bats, using bow saws to create circular stop cuts), shape the handle with an axe (Mr T looked a little nervous holding it steady for the children to whack!) and then finish with some careful whittling. There were some amazing clay bowls crafted moulded then covered in Viking runes. And let's not forget those beutifully whittled mushrooms on the end of your stone age-style knives! Plus there was a lot of laughter, giggles and a few nerves during the mammoth 50m blind trails created in and out of the woodland to follow. Add some create cookery over the fire, lots of games and plenty of face painting ... and it all adds up to some incredible adventures! Well done everyone!
