FIREBIRD ACROSTIC POEM - Part 1 - Creating a Word Bank

 

Our class reader, Firebird, describes a magnificent mythical flying bird that glows, shines and sparkles. 

 

On Friday, you will be writing an acrostic poem on the Firebird (more of that later in the week!), but firstly we need to gather some incredible adventurous words to get us started.

Fill in the task sheet with as many exciting words as you can thinks of to describe how the Firebird looks, sounds and moves. This will help you with tomorrow's task of turning your words into phrases!
