Art - Learn to Sketch Flowers Step-by-Step

HOME LEARNING - SPRING TERM WEEK 5 - ART

Learn to Draw a Flower (step-by-step)

Flowers may still be a few weeks off yet (though I have found lots of shoots poking through the soil!), but this is a good time to start practicing your sketching skills of drawing them ready for when the snow drops, bluebells, daffodils and tulips all burst into life and colour!

There are three levels of difficulty for you to choose from, or if you prefer, to work you way through. I am calling this an 'Art Chili Challenge', going from a nice easy introduction (Mild), to a more challenging mid-level (Spicy), up to the really tricky zone (Hot!). Each level shows step-by-step pictures for you to copy and build up your flower picture. Just click on the coloured pencil for the level you want to try.

CLICK ON THE LINK BELOW TO JUMP TO THE YEAR 3 TASK SET LAST SUMMER. IT HAS A VIDEO, ALONG WITH THE 3 LEVELS OF CHALLENGE, PLUS LOTS OF FANTASTIC EXAMPLES DRAW BY YEAR 3 CHILDREN TO INSPIRE YOU!

Once you have completed your picture, please send in your photos to show off your sketching skills to Mr T and Miss Manley :-)
