THE HUMAN BODY - INTERNAL ORGANS
Where are they and what do they do?
Our science topic for the second half of the summer term is 'Human Body - Skeleton, Organs, Diet and Nutrition', where we aim to discover what the human body is made up of and how we keep it healthy.
USE THE INFORMATION AND LINKS BELOW to find out what the internal body organs are, what they do and where they are.
This week we have 2 tasks:
TASK 1 - Label the Body Picture - What organ goes where?
Use the other pictures on this page to help you correctly label which part of the picture is which body organ.
TASK 2 - What does each organ do?
Now you know where all the main body organs are, time to discover what they all do! Use the information sheets, video links and websites to find out a bit about each of your body organs and what their main job (function) is.
Write just a sentence or two to name the organ and explain the job ... please do not write too much detail, just the main idea ... you are not sitting a GCSE Use the example to help you get started.
