HOME LEARNING - SUMMER TERM WEEK 6 - SCIENCE
THE HUMAN SKELETON - STRUCTURE & FUNCTION
Our science topic for the second half of the summer term is 'Human Skeleton and Movement', where we aim to discover what the human skeleton is for and how it helps in protection and movement.
Use the links below to watch the videos and look at the website links for information about the topic.
This week we have 3 tasks:
TASK 1 - Key Facts Question Sheet
This has a few questions about types of skeleton and bones. You may already know the answers or need to Google or 'Ask Alexa'. There is an answer sheet to talk through your ideas and check your answers.
TASK 2 - Skeleton Labeling and Fill in the Gaps Sheet
Label the parts of the skeleton (use the pictures in the slideshow to help you) and then put the answer words into the correct gap.
TASK 3 - Build Your Own Skeleton
There are 10 templates to choose from, all different styles and sizes. Print one off and build your own skeleton. If you have split pins (or something similar) you can even make the arms and legs move!
