Our children had the opportunity to apply to be a member of the Kindness Council to help themselves and their peers develop an understanding of the responsibilities involved in living as part of the family, school, local and wider community.
The Kindness Council has been a great success this year. This is what Monty and Isabella, our Class of 2021 members, had to say:
"Kindness Council members are kind and have respect for everyone around them. They help their peers and make sure that no one feels invisible. To be a Kindness Council member is a big role and has lots of responsibility. We love to help and support our community. To us, it makes us feel like we have a voice and can be heard, when coming up with ideas to help other people.
This year, the Kindness Council have showed school values all around. Even though this year wasn't perfect, we still tried to accomplish everything we wanted to. It was a great pleasure to be part of such a lovely team and we hope the next Kindness Councillors follow in our footsteps and enjoy the role as much as we did."
