HOME LEARNING GALLERY OF WORK

GALLERY OF AMAZING HOME LEARNING FROM YEAR 3

Over the coming weeks, any Home Learning work, projects, models, art, cookery or 'Wow Work' you would like to send in to Mr T and Miss Manley will be shown here as a photo slide show.

If it is a written project, such as in Word or PowerPoint, we are happy (with your permission) to post it here as well for others to read and admire (obviously with your name removed!). Handwritten work can be photographed and sent in for the gallery.

Fantastic Home Learning - Summer Term Week 1

WEEK 1, 2 & Easter - Home Learning Photo Gallery

We have been busy learning to mix and bake scones, carefully nurturing our sunflowers (our seeds have germinated beautifully!), producing beautiful Easter-themed artwork for church, learnt to make yummy flapjacks, undertook the 'Lego Challenge' for building a tower and roller-coaster (see the links in the Design and Technology Zone), growing lots of salad seeds, as well as working hard on fractions and story writing.

With new photos being added all the time (brilliant... keep them coming!) we also have a science experiment with eggs and vinegar to turn them into soft balls, baking mint choc chip cookies and apple cake (yummy!), growing courgette, lemon, peas and sweetcorn seeds, making your own outdoor fitness gym and even building a wormery to see how our little earth friends live and grow!

Latest photos now have Year 3 learning to marinate chicken, writing about Egyptian deaths and creating posters for the NHS to put up in their wards! Nice to see everyone showing off their lovely colour-mixing skills with paints for rainbows and sunsets! Well done, everyone!

Wow! You are really keeping busy! So much cooking going on! Loving the porridge flapjacks with chocolate, the amazing rainbow painting of the driveway and even a homemade treasure map of the village for a homemade Easter Egg Hunt! We also have learning to roller skate and making dens! Keep it all up!

Latest up is MJ cooking her Sussex Apple Cake for her Brownie Local History Badge, as well as her holding her 500 Word Certificate for getting into the last 5000 entries (out of 130,000!). Great news! MJ has also been busy following Mr T's daily travels around the world and created some fantastic maps too.

Romeo has been busy cooking tasty Indian food again, taking things to the next level with writing recipes too - in fact he now has his OWN recipe area in the Design, Technology and Cookery Zone! Have a look ... then send in a few creations to start your own page!

Well done everyone! Keep it up and keep sending in the pictures and documents for Mr T and Miss Manley to give feedback on.
