Grammar - Spot Mr T's Mistakes
HOME LEARNING - SUMMER TERM WEEK 8
SPOT AND CORRECT Mr T's SILLY MISTAKES!
Over the last few weeks, we have looked at all sorts of grammar and punctuation skills, so by now you should all be getting more and more confident!
This week's grammar tasks are all about helping out poor old Mr T with his own grammar and punctuation!
There are only TWO tasks to complete over the three sessions as they are a bit longer and may take a bit more time.
TASK 1 - Mr T's BBC 500 Word Story Entry
Mr T tried to write a short story for this year's competition, but didn't really do very well. Apparently he made 'one or two' small and silly errors.
Can you print off his entry and help him out by correcting his mistakes. He is pretty sure there are only a couple and will be very hard to spot. He is a teacher after all
TASK 2 - Mr T's Letter to Mrs Francis
Mr T also tried to write a letter to Mrs Francis to persuade her to give Year 3 an extra breaktime ... but there was 'something' wrong with the letter he wrote and she wasn't very impressed
Can you print off the letter and see if you can spot and correct the 'one or two' teeny tiny mistakes he made. Thanks.
