Art Task - Hand Doodles
HOME LEARNING - SUMMER TERM WEEK 5 - ART ACTIVITY
Back in Summer Week 1, you all had some fun with 'Draw with Rob', drawing some fantastic cartoon characters step-by-step, with some brilliant results in our picture galleries!
This week, a similar idea, only this time it all starts with you drawing around your hand to form the outline of your 'Hand Doodle'.
CLICK ON THE VIDEO LINK BELOW to watch a YouTube video (11 minutes long) on how to draw no less that 32 hand doodles. There are no spoken instructions, just music and the video showing you what to do. You will need to press PAUSE to allow you to keep up as the video whizzes through the colouring in!
As I said, there are 32 drawings to choose from, so you might want to watch the video through once and make a note of the times for your favourites! (Note - the last 2 lessons are slightly different)
Mr T's favourites were:
3 minutes 46 seconds = Crocodile
4 minutes 57 seconds = Chicken
7 minutes 47 seconds = Shark
Challenge - Folded Paper Shark - 8 minutes 43 seconds
This is a sketch rather than drawing round your hand ... tricky, but looks brilliant!
If you enjoyed the task and want to find more ideas for Hand Doodles, there are LOTS of similar videos to choose from on YouTube.
PLEASE SEND IN YOU FINISHED HAND DOODLE PICTURES TO MR T AND MISS MANLEY
