It's the last week of this half of the summer term!
So, as we enter the last week of this half term, we wanted to say (as we have said before but feel that we cannot ever say too often) how proud we are of you all.
This week we were incredibly touched to see so many of you commemorate VE Day. If you haven't seen it already, have a look at this video of Elsie and her older brother Arthur lowering the Union Jack flag outside the Scout Hut in the village whilst a Bugler played the last post. There were 4 other lone Buglers around the village: one on the Village Green outside our school, one outside Fairway Infant School, one in Westway and another on Copthorne Bank. The sound of the bugel is so powerful and emotional - it brought a tear to Dr James' eye.
You continue to work hard from home on your learning and we are also enjoying seeing the fantastically wide range of activities that you doing, as well as being helpful to your families. Thank you for sharing these with us and keep being AMAZING!
This week's home learning can be found in Week 5.
