Welcome to Our School

A very warm welcome to the Copthorne C.E. Junior School website. We are a happy, lively, caring school and serve the vibrant, strong Copthorne community.  

We are a school with a strong Christian ethos, which underpins our curriculum. Copthorne C.E. Junior School has committed, enthusiastic and conscientious staff who plan carefully for the different learning needs and learning styles of the children in their classes.

We provide our children with an exciting, enriching and challenging curriculum so that they become confident, happy, well behaved and independent learners.  

We believe that good communication between home and school is vital for children to succeed in their learning.  To encourage this we have a regular newsletter sent out by ParentMail or hard copy, an open-door policy as well as curriculum meetings, consultations, reports and clear expectations for homework.
